Letter of recommendation for: African Knights Student Tours & Safaris

One of the flagship programmes for the International Office, Stellenbosch University is our Winter School that is on offering every year between middle of June to middle July. Students from all over the world attend this programme with the majority coming from the USA; the number of students on this programme fluctuates between 70 and 120 students a year.

Because of the intensity of our Winter School academic programme, the students unfortunately do not have much time to travel and therefore the climax of their time in South Africa is undoubtedly the 6 Day Garden Route tour operated for the past two years by African Knights Student Tours & Safaris.

This year we were again pleased to use the services of this company for designing and operating an additional two weekend tours to Swellendam for our Winter School programme as well as a Garden Route tour for another annual programme we are currently developing, this time for Georgia University from the USA.

In all instances the trips were well planned and well co-ordinated; our students never felt unsafe in any way and always gave us positive feedback regarding all accommodation, guiding assistance and travel in general whilst on tour.

Although it is our official policy not to enter into contracts with tour operators we do however intend to give African Knights Student Tours & Safaris the opportunity to quote on the abovementioned tours and also to give them the opportunity to quote on further tours, as we are in the process of expanding our short programme offering through the International office.

As our international students well being and safety are our priority, we at Stellenbosch University International Office feel confident in recommending and endorsing the services of African Knights Student Tours and Safaris.
